The simple cheese and cracker plate is behind us. Now that we have discovered new ingredients we have become more creative in the kitchen and all this is bringing new trends for the charcuterie board.

The charcuterie board are evolving from breakfast to tacos, there's something for all tastes. Now that we’re getting ready to start opening our homes, consider one of these boards to wow your family and guests in style.

1. Breakfast. Start the day with a good meal. Your charcuterie board can include toast, jellies, pancakes, fruits, eggs, vegetables, and chorizo. Accompanied by a cup of coffee.

2. Salsa Bar. Place in separate containers different types of sauces from medium to more spicy, in another container melted cheese and guacamole. Accompany it with different kinds of corn chips and bread.


3. Cheeses- It is a classic, but can be elevated, place different kinds of cheeses, accompanied by honey, nuts, fruits, cookies, cold cuts, olives and balsamic glaze to create different combinations.

4. Inspire yourself in a Country or Region. For example, visit the Mediterranean on a tray with hummus, olives, pita bread, walnuts, falafel, peppers, and cheese.

5. Yogurt. ​This treat can be super refreshing for your guests. Provide each with a yogurt container, and place the toppings on the board, such as, nuts, fruits, cinnamon, honey, granola and chocolate chips.

6. Classic elevated board- Place different cheeses, cold cuts, mini toast bread, tomato, balsamic glaze, crackers, nuts, grapes, and some type of berries. Accompany by honey.

7. Tacos. Let everyone create their own tacos, place on the board meat, chicken, shrimp, beans, cheeses, sour cream, avocado, rice, peppers, onion, cilantro, soft and hard tortillas. 
​8. Dessert. Let your imagination run. From healthier choices like fruits to more caloric dessert charcuterie, you can have cheesecake, donuts, cookies, chocolates, and cake.

Additional Recommendations:
  • Consider having the necessary utensils for the different types of food on the board and plates for each person. ​
  • Important to take into consideration the allergies of the guests to avoid accidents.
